Good Afternoon Meadowside Families,
As we shared earlier this week, our PTA Trunk or Treat has been rescheduled for Friday October 25th -- We are hoping our families will still be able to join us!

This coming Monday is our PTA sponsored Scholastic Book Fair - flyers went home this week. Children will be able to shop during the day with their classrooms. The book fair will also be open Wednesday night during our conference time. Click here for more information.
Our Fall 2024 Elementary Conferences are scheduled for next week - Tuesday through Thursday. All three days will be 1:15 Early Dismissals for students. If you haven’t signed up already, you can still sign up through Monday at Noon. Parents/guardians can select a conference time through My Conference Time. All conferences will be in person unless a parent/guardian requests a Google Meet link directly from the teacher.
Friday Meadowside is going Pink -- join us by wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
On Thursday, October 31st, our students will have the opportunity to participate in a costume parade during the school day. Click here for more information including time, location and costume guidelines.
Fourth and Fifth Grade Minute Meetings: We are excited to start Minute Meetings with all of our 4th and 5th graders. Minute meetings are brief, face-to-face conversations that our school counselor will have with each 4th and 5th grader this fall. The purpose is to get to know our students better so we can best meet their needs and to make sure all of our students are connected with an adult in school they can go to if they need support. School counselors get to know each child by asking them a few simple questions about their friends, what adult they go to if they need help, their challenges, and their interests. Community Connection Center News: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities. Featured this week : Milford's Prevention Councils "Halloween Costume Contest, Sleeping Giant's Centennial Celebration and New Haven's Chalk Art Festival. Also Milford Park & Recreation Department is asking for help in deciding what holiday movie to show for their "Family Movie Night" , so take their survey today!
