Good Evening Meadowside Families -

Thank you to our AMAZING PTA and Parents for the appreciation we were showered with this week at Meadowside.  Your incredible donations -- the bounty of snacks, personalized clipboards, specialty teas and pastries, tasty home baked goods, pizza truck and incredible breakfast -- spoiled us all week long!  Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank You!  Special shout outs to The Bindner Family and Icing on the Cake, Mrs. Ramos, Silver Sands, and Mrs. Magazine for all you did to make this week an incredibly special one for all of us at Meadowside.  

Thank you also to PTA for another FANTASTIC plant sale. Our students loved picking out flowers for their families!

Meadowside is having Fun in the Sun: We are excited to share our first Fun in the Sun reading event scheduled for Monday, May 20th. We are going to be reading outside in grade level groups and you are welcome to join us.  If you are interested in being your child's special reading partner and able to join us, RSVP here and on the day of the event, bring a blanket to sit with your child and enjoy a good book together!  If you tried unsuccessfully to RSVP earlier in the week -- the link has been fixed -- so please try again!  We don’t want technology to stop you from coming!  

Career Day-Always wanted to be a professional sports player? What about a doctor or engineer? Wednesday May 15th is our third annual career day! Students can come dressed as their dream career and take part in the fun. We are so looking forward to learning more about the careers in our community.

Our Final PTA meeting will be Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 in the Media Center -- followed by a 7:00 Fifth Grade Committee meeting.  Below are the proposed budget and slate of officers who will be voted on for next year at the PTA meeting.
