Reminder: Meadowside PTA needs your help! We are looking to expand our PTA leadership and membership. We need YOU if we are going to continue to be able to run the many events that have happened in the past. Our Book Fairs, picnics, Trunk or Treats, Winter Festival, Dances, Plant Sales, Assemblies, and STEAM Nights don’t happen without Parent Volunteers. At our next meeting we will be talking about how we can grow our membership and share responsibilities for events so by everyone pitching in a little we can do a lot for our students and for our school! We are also looking for board members -- so think about whether you are interested in helping out with an event … or stepping up in a leadership role … or just lending a hand on a committee -- we are grateful and appreciative of whatever you have to offer! So if you are interested in learning more about how you can help please stop by! Attendance and Dismissal Reminders: If your child is absent, please log in and report their absence through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For directions of how to fill out the student attendance form please click HERE. As a reminder each student is allowed 9 parent excused absences in the school year any further absences can only be excused with a doctor’s note.
If you have a change in dismissal, please remember to send in a note, or email your child’s teacher and our secretary Miss Jones (jjones@milforded.org) and our greeter Mrs. Megan Ansaldo (
mansaldo@milforded.org). It is important to email all three in the case that one or more of our staff is absent that day.
