Good Evening Meadowside Families -

Meadowside PTA needs your help!  We are looking to expand our PTA leadership and membership.  We need YOU if we are going to continue to be able to run the many events that have happened in the past.  Our Book Fairs, picnics, Trunk or Treats, Winter Festival, Dances, Plant Sales, Assemblies, and STEAM Nights don’t happen without Parent Volunteers.  At our next meeting we will be talking about how we can grow our membership and share responsibilities for events so by everyone pitching in a little we can do a lot for our students and for our school!  We are also looking for board members -- so think about whether you are interested in helping out with an event … or stepping up in a leadership role … or just lending a hand on a committee -- we are grateful and appreciative of whatever you have to offer!  So if you are interested in learning more about how you can help please stop by!  Reach out to PTA with questions at ptameadowside@gmail.com or stop by our next PTA meeting on Tuesday May 6th at 6:00 in the Meadowside Media Center.

Speaking of our Meadowside PTA, did you know that they make our assemblies possible?  Their generous support and funding brought our HUGA TUGA assembly earlier this year and our Drumming Circle Assembly yesterday.  We are so thankful for the PTA!  As you can see from the smiles in the photos below -- our students loved participating -- drumming, singing and dancing -- while learning about cultures and wellness!  What is better than that?!

It was Fancy Friday at Meadowside.  We had fun seeing some of our friends dress their best!
