Hold the Date - Our Fifth Grade Committee has organized a fun opportunity for families over the Spring Break on April 1st at the IT Ropes Course in New Haven from 12:00 - 5:00. All families are welcome to attend -- 20% of proceeds will go to the fifth grade committee. Tickets can be bought online or families can print this flyer and bring it with them to the event. If you haven’t done so already -- Sign Up Now for Parent Teacher Conferences. Our conference sign up window is open until March 18 at 12pm. Conferences are coming up on: Wednesday, March 20th 5:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21st 1:45-3:45 p.m., and Friday, March 22nd 1:45-3:45 p.m. Reminder these are early dismissal days for students at 1:15.
STEM Highlights: Our fourth graders were amazing in sharing their energy conservation ideas for Meadowside School. The thought and creativity they put in to their proposals came through in their presentations! Way to go Fourth Grade!!!
STEAM Night is coming up soon! STEAM night is PTA Sponsored event-Wednesday, March 27th 6-7:30PM. Be on the lookout for the 5th grade committee selling raffle tickets, water and snacks at this event!
Community Connection Center News: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities. Among the community services you will find links for "Foodshare Mobile Pantry dates, additional food resources and Milford's Public Library (MPL) workshop on how to manage stress. For Family fun you'll find information for Celtic Music at the MPL Or you can enjoy several beautiful Nature Walks around Milford. There is also information about other summer camps. Remember that the CCC Website is updated with links to community resources. To locate the CCC’s web page go to Milford’s main page and click on the Menu tab & scroll down under district Information to find the Community Connections Centers!

Attendance and Dismissal Reminders: If your child is absent, please log in and report their absence through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For directions of how to fill out the student attendance form please click HERE. As a reminder each student is allowed 9 parent excused absences in the school year any further absences can only be excused with a doctor’s note. If you have a change in dismissal, please remember to send in a note, or email your child’s teacher and our secretary Miss Jones (jjones@milforded.org) and our greeter Mrs. Megan Ansaldo (mansaldo@milforded.org). It is important to email all three in the case that one or more of our staff is absent that day.
