Today we had our HEART Assembly. Congratulations to our HEART award winners and thank you to Miss Morin and our Amazing PEP squad.
READ ACROSS AMERICA week is coming and to help kick it off the PTA is sponsoring an in school assembly. Author Joe Shandrowski will be performing his pep rally for reading with an interactive theater where students will get to dance along to the sounds of Huga Tuga.

Community Connection Center News: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities. Among the community services you will find links for "Adams House", that supports grieving families through free programs. Foodshare Mobile Pantry date and additional food resources.For Family fun you'll find information for programs about a New Haven scavenger hunt and the CT Flower & Garden Show. Clifford Beers's Walk and Resources Fair to support Autism. There is also information about Milford's YMCA's summer camps. Remember that the CCC Website is updated with links to community resources. To locate the CCC’s web page go to Milford’s main page and click on the Menu tab & scroll down under district Information to find the Community Connections Centers!
Save the date: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be coming March 20th, March 21st, and March 22nd. All three days will be 1:15 Early Dismissals for Students. Be on the lookout for directions to sign up for parent teacher conference times. Conference Times and Dates are as follows: Wednesday, March 20th 5:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21st 1:45-3:45 p.m., and Friday, March 22nd 1:45-3:45 p.m.
STEAM Night-Wednesday, March 27th- Be on the lookout for the 5th grade committee selling raffle tickets, water and snacks at this event!

Attendance and Dismissal Reminders: If your child is absent, please log in and report their absence through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For directions of how to fill out the student attendance form please click HERE. As a reminder each student is allowed 9 parent excused absences in the school year any further absences can only be excused with a doctor’s note. If you have a change in dismissal, please remember to send in a note, or email your child’s teacher and our secretary Miss Jones (jjones@milforded.org) and our greeter Mrs. Megan Ansaldo (mansaldo@milforded.org). It is important to email all three in the case that one or more of our staff is absent that day.
