Thank you to the PTA for hosting our Sweetheart Dance last friday night. Our students and their special guests had a wonderful time dancing the night away.
Save the date: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be coming March 20th, March 21st, and March 22nd. All three days will be 1:15 Early Dismissals for Students. Please look out for directions to sign up for parent teacher conference times. Conference Times and Dates are as follows:

Our next PTA meeting will be at 6:00 on Tuesday, February 20th in the Meadowside Media Center. Following our PTA meeting at 7:00 we will hold a Fifth Grade Celebration Committee meeting. Fifth Grade Parents keep reading for more information. Fifth Grade Parents - we need YOU! Please join us at 7:00 for a meeting to help plan for our fifth grade celebration. We need volunteers to help in planning and fundraising. We depend on our fifth grade parents to help make the day a success - and need volunteers to jump in and help.
Community Connection Center News: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities. Among the community services you will find links for the Milford Recreation's Adaptive Programs, TEAM's tax help for anyone and the Foodshare Mobile Pantry.
For Family fun you'll find information for programs about Black History taking place at Bridgeport's Public Library. Yale's Lunafest 2024 will host several events in New Haven. There is also information about Milford's Receation summer camps.

Important Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th-- there is no school for our winter recess. We will see everyone back at Meadowside Tuesday, February 20th.
A Razor scooter was left outside on the bike racks for multiple days. We moved it inside for safekeeping. If the scooter is yours please call the school and give a description so we can return it to its owner.

Attendance and Dismissal Reminders: If your child is absent, please log in and report their absence through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For directions of how to fill out the student attendance form please click HERE. As a reminder each student is allowed 9 parent excused absences in the school year any further absences can only be excused with a doctor’s note. If you have a change in dismissal, please remember to send in a note, or email your child’s teacher and our secretary Miss Jones (jjones@milforded.org) and our greeter Mrs. Megan Ansaldo (mansaldo@milforded.org). It is important to email all three in the case that one or more of our staff is absent that day.
