We hope everyone had a good week -- please remember that this coming Monday we have no school in honor of Martin Luther King Day. With anticipated weather coming next week, please keep an eye on our website www.milforded.org and on local news channels for any changes in our school day due to weather, and always remember to have a back up child care plan in the event of an early dismissal.
Our 4th grade students have been busy in the STEM lab this week.
Community Connection Center News: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun seasonal activities. Among the community services you will find links for the CT FoodShare's Mobile Pantry, and Access Health's Open Enrollment Fair. The Child Development program at Jonathan Law High School has some available spots in their program starting in the second semester.
For Family fun you'll find information about TEAM's Martin Luther King Celebration and The Everwonder Museum.
Because of inclement weather the PDS's SPARKLER ``Ring in the New Year" Family Night was moved to Tuesday, Jan. 30th from 5:00pm-7:30pm Contact the MFRC today for registration information by calling Kathy or Judy at 203-783-3626.

Attendance and Dismissal Reminders: If your child is absent, please log in and report their absence through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For directions of how to fill out the student attendance form please click HERE. As a reminder each student is allowed 9 parent excused absences in the school year any further absences can only be excused with a doctor’s note. If you have a change in dismissal, please remember to send in a note, or email your child’s teacher and our secretary Miss Jones (jjones@milforded.org) and our greeter Mrs. Megan Ansaldo (mansaldo@milforded.org). It is important to email all three in the case that one or more of our staff is absent that day.
