Congratulations to all our amazing fifth grade spellers who participated in our building bee. Genevieve and Shathvick’s final spell off was amazing - students and adults alike were holding their breath time after time! Best wishes to Genevieve as she progresses on to the district competition!
March Madness wrapped up this week in the Media Center -- check out the winner!
Spring Break begins Tomorrow April 7th and continues through the end of next week! We wish everyone a safe break and look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday April 17th.
This week's Community Connection Center's Newsletter: This week's Community Connection Center's Newsletter (CCC News) has information for (PEP) UCONN's People Empowering People's Free Fun Family events. Join other parents for the "April Trash Pick Up" & or the "Kindness Rock workshop". There are links for Milford's Rec. April's programs and Milford's Food Pantries. The Trowbridge Environmental Center is hosting a free "Kid Birding Lesson & Walk" . Remember that the CCC website is updated with links to community resources. Have a great spring break!
Our Meadowside Mindfulness in Residence Program Monday, April 17th continues with sessions for K, 3, and 4. Their sessions will run 4/17, 4/24, and 5/1. Thank you again to our PTA for bringing us this in residence program!

Spring Plant Sale: Will be May 12th during the school day. This is just in time for Mother’s Day. More information to follow.

Reminder: Kick Off to Kindergarten In School Event for Incoming Kindergarteners this May: Fully registered families can now register for our in person Kick Off to Kindergarten sessions in May. If you haven’t registered yet for your incoming kindergartener - please visit the district website and do so now. Reminders: You must register your child for Kindergarten at the school determined by your street address, unless placed by Pupil Personnel Services. School/Street Assignments are available on the district website under “District Information.”
Students must be at least age five (5) on or before December 31, 2023, in order to register for Kindergarten.
Current MPS preschool or Ready To Learn students do not need to complete an online registration packet.
