Sensory Pathway Ribbon Cutting

Live Oaks School Unveils "Under the Sea" Sensory Pathway

We are thrilled to announce the grand unveiling of our Under the Sea themed Sensory Pathway at Live Oaks School! This incredible initiative, started by our second grade teachers, was two years in the making. It was made possible through the generous donation from the Guido Family.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Raymond Guido and his sisters—Peg Hawes, Anne Marie Hogan, Alice Guido, and Judy Guido—for their support in bringing this vision to life. They supported this meaningful initiative in honor of the relationships Mr. Guido’s late mother had with his son. A plaque beside the pathway commemorates this generous gift, reading:
"In Loving Memory of Mary (Marie) Gloria Guido. Donated by the Guido Family in her memory."

The Sensory Pathway is designed to benefit all Live Oaks students, offering movement breaks to help regulate emotions, improve motor skills, and enhance focus in the classroom. This engaging space will provide students with the opportunity to release energy in a structured, beneficial way, fostering a more effective learning environment.

We appreciate everyone who joined us, including Superintendent Dr. Cutaia, for our special ribbon-cutting ceremony. We look forward to seeing our students enjoy and benefit from the pathway for years to come!
