Specialist Spotlight - Physical Education
Hello JFK Families and Friends!
I hope your winter break was wonderful and you found ways to be both active and restful! We are back in full swing in Physical Education! The third, fourth and fifth graders are beginning to create their own fitness routines. They must incorporate muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility in their routines. Be sure to ask them to show you what they have created! The pre-k, kindergarten, first and second graders are developing their hand-eye coordination in lots of fun ways! Activities like ring-toss, scarf juggling and rock wall climbing are a few examples of fun ways to work on hand-eye coordination! Have a chat at home about other times you use hand-eye coordination!
I hope your new year is going well!
Ms. Anastasiou
