We are very excited about two upcoming events! On Friday, October 22nd, we will be having Trunk or Treat in the JFK parking lot! If you are interested in volunteering for this event or would like to decorate a trunk, please contact the PTO. Contact information below in the PTO section.
We are also excited to bring back costume day this year on Friday, October 29th. We are currently working on a schedule that outlines a specific time where parents can view their child’s class engaging in the parade. More details to come with specific times next week. Be on the lookout for your child’s time!

Save the Date
Fall performance: Grade 5 JFK Music Night is Thursday, October 28th @ 5:00 PM. Flyers were sent home to 5th grade families last night with all the details.
Costume Parade
On Friday, October 29th students will be able to wear their costumes and participate in a brief parade outside with their grade level. Families will be invited to attend in a designated viewing area. More information to come in next Friday’s news.
Water Bottles Reminder
Please remember to send in a reusable water bottle with your child. They have access to our water stations and can refill as necessary throughout the day.
Fall Conferences
We are pleased to announce our Fall 2021 Elementary Virtual Conference Schedule:
Wednesday, October 20 th 1:45-3:45 p.m.
Thursday, October 21st 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 22n 1:45-3:45 p.m.
*Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule. Therefore, students will be dismissed on October 20th, October 21st and October 22nd at 1:15pm.
Our fall conferences will be held virtually and parents/guardians will once again have the opportunity to select a conference time through My Conference Time. We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s learning! Fall conference sign up information will be live on our school website from Friday, October 8th, at 9:00 a.m. through Monday, October 18th, at 12:00 p.m. Quick tip: Look for emails from “noreply@myconferencetime.com” when searching email for conference confirmation communications.

Mark Your Calendar for Trunk or Treat!
Trunk or Treat is coming back on Friday, 10/22! If you want to decorate your trunk, sign-up here. We’ll also be accepting nut-free candy donations next Tuesday-Friday in large marked bins out front during drop off. More info on how to RSVP coming next week!
Hawk-A-Thon is Coming!
