JFK Elementary School News

Hello JFK Families!

Even though it was a short week, our students still engaged in so many learning opportunities! I hope they are sharing all their learning with you at home. We added just a few pictures of the many activities from the week. Make sure you check them out at the bottom of this email.

Thank you to all the families that attended our PTO meeting this past Wednesday. These meetings are a great opportunity to learn about upcoming events and possible ways to get involved. We appreciate your time, support, and input. I am looking forward to this year and am very excited to continue our partnership with the PTO. We truly appreciate all they do for our students, families, and staff!! Thank you PTO!!

We appreciate your continued patience and help during arrival and dismissal to ensure the safety of our students. Please remember, all car pickups should pull all the way up when unloading/loading your children in your vehicle. This will help expedite the process and increase the flow of traffic. Thank you for your attention to this!

We conducted our first lockdown drill yesterday. The teachers have been working closely with our students to help them understand the rules and expectations of these drills and they did a great job! Thank you for reinforcing the importance of these drills at home.

Have a great weekend!

Mr. Brennan
