Hello JFK Families,
I have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to welcome all of our JFK learners to school on Wednesday, August 3oth! Our JFK staff has been working hard to help prepare our building for the start of the HAWKsome year to come! While you will be receiving an official welcome letter including start-up information as a hard copy in the mail, I wanted to send you a sample newsletter of what you can look forward to receiving every Friday via email blast. This weekly Hawk’s Herald will help to communicate school and district information on a regular basis. You can look forward to receiving a link to access this newsletter every Friday afternoon. If you have friends in our Hawk community that are not receiving this message, please ask them to check the email they have listed in PowerSchool, as that is what is used to send this email notification. We can’t wait to start this school year with your partnership. As principal, I can’t wait to learn alongside all of you and to build an amazing learning community together as we SOAR into the 23-24 school year! I look forward to seeing you soon, Hawks!

Kindergarten Playdate, August 26th, 11am
Popsicles with the Principal sponsored by our awesome PTO, August 26th
We look forward to welcoming our incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten families on Tuesday, Aug. 29th. The PreK session runs from 1-1:45pm and the K welcome session is from 2-3pm. Come meet your child’s teacher, classroom and the caring adults and spaces in our learning community!
Our first official day of school is Wednesday, August 30th!

Be on the lookout for important information about arrival, dismissal and start of school to arrive within the next week via USPS mail and via email.
Milford Public Schools will supply school supplies for all of our students. However, consider providing a backpack, lunch box and sneakers ready to go for the start of school.
