Hello JFK Families,
Wow, the year is quickly coming to an end and I have thoroughly enjoyed being your Interim Principal. JFK is a special place and it is because of the committed staff, parents and students. Please stop by at the JFK picnic on Friday to visit with other families. ( See below)
The district is compiling school climate data and we need your assistance. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions in the survey below regarding your thoughts and feelings about your school experience this year. Please respond honestly—this survey is anonymous.
I am hopeful that many of you will take the time to complete the survey. We need your voices. Staff and students will be completing this survey next week
Enjoy the weekend!
Ms. Anziano
May was Respect Month at JFK School - Teachers conducted discussions with their students about respect and what it means. Students then chose someone in their classroom that exemplified a Respect Star. Some of the characteristics that our Respect Stars exemplify are:
Has self-respect
Cares for the environment and living things
Is polite, courteous and fair
Respects the dignity and worth of others
Fulfills obligations and commitments
Shows respect for the value of learning
Tells the truth and acts with integrity
Knows the difference between right and wrong
We also chose two ambassadors to represent our school from the list of Respect Star students. Zoe Hughes and Yi’Nuo Chen were our school’s ambassadors! We are so proud of them!! We honored our Respect Stars and ambassadors with an all-school assembly on May 30th. Congratulations to all!!
Lost and Found - We have many items in the lost and found. All items will be donated on the last day of school . Please remind your student to come and look for any lost items.

Hello JFK Families and Friends!
How is it possibly June already!?! We have had a fun year in P.E. and we are finishing our work with lawn games: cornhole and bocce, capture the flag and a successful field day!!! Thank you to the PTO and all of the parent volunteers who helped make field day amazing, there is no way we could run the day (and enjoy it) without all of you!!! Although our number of P.E. classes are getting smaller, don't forget to send your student with sneakers on their P.E. day!
Thank you and have a great summer!
Ms. Anastasiou
