HMS FAMILIES:
The Memorial Day weekend is upon us and the weather looks like it appears to be in our favor. I hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend and is able to relax and unwind a bit.
Please take a moment to read over a few important updates and reminders.
HMS Spirit Days Next Week -
Tuesday - Wear Red White and Blue to honor our past veterans for Memorial Day.
Wednesday - Wear your favorite Sport Jersey to show support for our track meet participants.
Student Absences and Early Pick Up -
To report an absence, parents need to log into PowerSchool and click on “Forms” to enter an absence.
If you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please come to the front door with your driver license as you will need to check in with the Greeter and sign out your child.
If the early pick-up is known prior to the start of school, please send in a note with your child in the morning to give to our Greeter, Mrs.Tilt, or email ktilt@milforded.org. Our Greeter will then give your child an early release pass to come to the lobby to make the pick up more efficient.

If you will be moving or your child will be attending another school for the 2022-2023 school year, please contact the Harborside Office at 203-783-3523 so we can provide the appropriate form(s) and update our records.
Monday, May 30 - No school - Memorial Day.
Wednesday, June 1 - Middle School track meet at Foran High School (rain date 6/3)
Thursday, June 2 - 8th grade dinner dance 6:00 PM.
Tuesday, June 7 - Grade 8 students Holiday Hill 8:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Wednesday, June 15 - Moving up Ceremony - 8th graders only - 4:30 PM @ Parsons
June 16 - Holly Rock Brain Challenge Quiz Show
June 16, 17, 20 - Early release for students at 12:45 PM - Last 3 days of school.
