HMS FAMILIES:
What a week of weather! Earlier in the week temperatures overnight were in the twenties and they barely rose above 40 degrees. Fast forward to the end of the week and we are seeing 50 plus degrees. As for the weekend, it appears to be looking more like Spring. Fingers crossed for a great first weekend of April.

HMS Community Project Update -
Our HMS community collected 852 coloring books and crayon pairs, along with 70 additional crayon packets, to send to the children of the Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project and donated items.
Report Cards -
Parents can view their child’s Trimester two Report in PowerSchool.
Yearbook Ordering -
Yearbooks are on sale now for $27. April 25th is the last day to place an order.

Student Absences and Early Pick Up -
To report an absence, parents need to log into PowerSchool and click on “Forms” to enter an absence.
If you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please come to the front door with your driver license as you will need to check in with the Greeter and sign out your child.
If the early pick-up is known prior to the start of school, please send in a note with your child in the morning to give to our Greeter, Mrs.Tilt, or email ktilt@milforded.org. Our Greeter will then give your child an early release pass to come to the lobby to make the pick up more efficient.
Wednesday, April 6 - PTO Silver Sands Pizza Fundraiser
Wednesday, April 13 - Early dismissal for staff professional development. Students will be dismissed at 12:45 PM.
Friday, April 15 - No school - Good Friday.
Monday, April 18 - Friday, April 22- No school - Spring Recess.
