GOOD AFTERNOON HMS FAMILIES:
The daffodils are starting to peek up around here, which feels like a little promise of spring—until you remember where we live. We’ve had a few sunny days to break up the gray, and it’s been almost enough to make us believe winter is over.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves… we all know “second winter” is lurking right around the corner. Hope you’re enjoying the sunshine while it lasts!
Please take a moment to review a few important updates and reminders.

Scheduling Reminder -
Due to limited slots available per teacher, it is not possible for every parent/guardian to meet with every one of their child’s teachers. Therefore, parents/guardians are asked to limit their selection to two core teachers per student (Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science,Spanish, or French) and three Unified Arts teachers (Phys. Ed., Art, Music, Tech Ed, and Health).
If parents/guardians wish to meet with additional core/unified art teachers or the team as a whole please contact the specific teacher or team to set up a mutually agreed upon time, during the school day, outside of the conference dates to meet.
Parents/guardians can also schedule meetings with the guidance counselor, social worker, psychologist, speech and language, and special education teachers using this system.
