GOOD AFTERNOON HMS FAMILIES:
Your kids looked great showing off their school spirit this week with our many winter-themed celebration days. Today we held our first pep rally in many years, and it was a blast!
Tomorrow marks the first day of winter (perhaps a snowy one?). We hope you and your families have some quality time off together this coming week.
See you back recharged, refreshed, and ready to learn in 2025!

HMS Winter Dance is Coming -
HMS is holding a school wide dance on Friday, January 10 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in our gym.
For more information regarding the dance, payment, and permission slip will be forthcoming.
Important FYI -
In order to attend the dance, students are to be in attendance for a full day. Exceptions will be made for medical appointments.
As this is a school event, the school cell phone policy is still in effect during the dance.
Phones are not to be out or used during the dance.
Water Donations for the Dance -
Your help is needed to hydrate the students during the dance. They get very thirsty over the course of 2 hours.
An all call email will go out to families the week of the dance asking for small water (8oz) bottle donations. In previous years, students consumed close to 375 bottles of water.
Drama Club Fundraiser -
The first Drama Club Fundraiser (Sees Candies), of 2025 is here and it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The funds raised help the club offset costs like; costumes, props, lighting and sound rentals, and more!
The best part is that your orders will ship directly to you!
Ordering starts today and orders will begin to ship out on 1/16/25.
The fundraiser runs through 1/31.
