GOOD AFTERNOON HMS FAMILIES:
Happy Friday the 13th! Good thing there's no scientific proof that Friday the 13th is truly unlucky. Still, it might be best not to walk under any ladders, or break any mirrors today.
Tonight you may want to kick off the holiday season as the New Haven Ballet returns to the Shubert Theatre to present Lisa Kim Sanborn’s The Nutcracker, a beloved holiday tradition.
On Saturday, Woodmont is hosting it’s annual Arts and Crafts Fair at 128 Kings Highway from 11-4. Browse the wares from local vendors and enjoy some complimentary cider or cocoa.

HMS Winter Dance is Coming -
HMS is holding a school wide dance on Friday, January 10 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in our gym.
For more information regarding the dance, payment, and permission slip will be forthcoming.
Important FYI -
In order to attend the dance, students are to be in attendance for a full day. Exceptions will be made for medical appointments.
As this is a school event, the school cell phone policy is still in effect during the dance.
Phones are not to be out or used during the dance.
Water Donations for the Dance -
Your help is needed to hydrate the students during the dance. They get very thirsty over the course of 2 hours.
An all call email will go out to families the week of the dance asking for small water (8oz) bottle donations. In previous years, students consumed close to 375 bottles of water.
HMS Staff Holiday Lunch sponsored by the HMS PTO -
The PTO is looking for your help in spreading some holiday cheer to the HMS Staff by supporting the HMS Lunch by donating a food item/drink.
