GOOD AFTERNOON HMS FAMILIES:
HMS friends and families: your generosity never ceases to amaze us! We collected 211 pairs of shoes to donate to the Soles4Souls organization! Thank you for your contributions, and to our own Ms. Gutman and Mr. Clark for coordinating this event. Soles4Souls turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty.
We hope Mother Nature stops acting fickle, and provides you with some sunshine this weekend. May the 4th be with you, and Happy Cinco de Mayo!

After School Clubs Ending -
Next week is the last week for after school clubs at HMS. Thursday, May 9 is the last day.
After next week, there are no more late buses for the rest of the school year.
Drop-off/Pick-up Area Part Two - Please see below regarding our side parking lot.
Drop-off/Pick-up area -
Please know that we recently placed a “Student Pick-up/Drop-off Begins Here” sign up at the top loop.
Parents/Guardians are asked to pull up as close to the sign as possible before having their child(ren) exit the vehicle. When parents/guardians/family members are not moving up, the street gets backed up and causes traffic at the intersection.
As a reminder, the bus loop directly in front of the school is to be used only for buses between 7:40 AM and 8:00 AM.
Students are not to be dropped off using the bus loop prior to 8:00 AM.
Temporary exceptions will be made on an emergency basis and cleared through the nurse’s office.
