GOOD AFTERNOON HMS FAMILIES:
The first full week of school was a success. No disruptions to the schedule. This weekend’s weather looks to be less humid with temperatures in the 70s. There is a chance of rain Friday night into Saturday morning. On the sports side of things, the New York NFL teams are 1 and 1 for the season. Fingers crossed that both teams play well this weekend.

Open House is Monday, September 18 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM-
Please make sure you know your child’s HR teacher’s name/room.
You will be able to pick your schedule for the night in the HR.
Hunger Action Month Fundraiser-
HMS is partnering up with the Purple Pantry Box to collect shelf stable foods during the month of September.
Items that are collected will be donated and distributed among the various Purple Panty Box locations around Milford for our neighbors in need.
Non perishable food donations can be dropped off in the front lobby by the Greeter’s desk.

Go Gold for Pediatric Cancer Awareness -
Please help make our 3rd annual “PJammin' for Kids with Cancer” a huge success by donating new children’s sleepwear during the week of September 18.

Wednesday, September 20 - Early release for staff professional development. Students are dismissed at 12:45 PM.
