The Scholar-Athlete awards banquet was held at the Aqua Turf Club.
Celebrating Memorial Day
Memorial Day is typically spent recalling the valor of men and women who died in combat and we must never forget men like Foran Graduate Corporal Jordan Pierson who died giving his life for our nation in Fallujiah Al Anbar Province Iraq in 2006
The poppy is a national symbol of remembrance and often beacons of hope. Students in Mrs. Plude’s Visual Arts classes, Adult Learners from PD sessions, Adult Ed students, Veterans and volunteer clubs created a total of 350 ceramic poppies that represent the Milford Residents who are members of the American Legion Post 196.
A Special Thank you to Mrs. Emily Plude for organizing and working with students and clubs in creating the 350 poppies. Thank you Madeline Elmo, Patrick Butler, Interact Club members and Art students for creating all of the beautiful poppies. A Wonderful way to honor Memorial Day!

Please click on the attachment for the instructions. The survey should take about 2 minutes to complete.
If you are attending a trade school or four year college or university after graduation, a final transcript indicating the graduation date will automatically be sent to the school you chose in your survey.
If you are attending a community college in Connecticut, a transcript will be sent to the student's milforded email address in late June/early July so they can upload it to their student account.
If you do not complete the survey, we will not know where to send your transcript once you graduate.

that is now available to rent.
Here are instructions to promote our film to your network:
In today’s world of structure, stranger danger, and helicopter parenting, free play and independence have virtually disappeared from childhood, giving way to unprecedented anxiety and depression (now compounded by two years of the COVID-19 pandemic). In CHASING CHILDHOOD, psychologists, activists, and leaders of the "free play" movement fight to bring back the untold benefits of a less curated childhood.
