Recently students in Advanced Photography 1&2 were given the creative challenge of merging old and new technologies. JAF faculty and staff did some early spring cleaning and generously donated old CDs and DVDs for photo students to use in their images. Students could incorporate the CDs in any way that worked with their inquiry, research and artistic intention. The additional challenge for students was the highly reflective surface of the CD. Here are some images from Tayana Banks, Max Howland, Sidney Jean-Baptiste, Miah Lasorso, Teagan Mulvihill, and Haley Pokornowski to enjoy.
