The students in Ms Plude’s Art for Seniors class had to choose an animal to draw from observation and used watercolor techniques they learned in class. The placement of the focal point was important in this project, so they had to be sure to use the Rule of Thirds to position the area of emphasis.  Placing the focal point in the Rule of thirds made it more natural for their subject to extend out of the borders.  The objects found in the environment where their animal lives had to be rendered with texture in pen & ink when it extended beyond the borders of the background rectangle.Sklar Rowe, Caitlan Cook, Cassidy Warakomski

Congrats to Bella Mema, Leighla-Marie Dantes, and Oliva Salai on a beautiful Southern Region Honor Choir concert this weekend!
