This past Wednesday, February 2nd, we celebrated World Read Aloud Day by having virtual author visits with Young Adult authors, Christina June and Mia Garcia. A couple of Mrs. Newall’s and Mrs. Cassell’s English classes participated in these visits and heard about each author’s experience within their career as a writer, heard excerpts from their novels and learned about where they received their inspiration from. Students asked some great questions of the authors and learned so much from their presentations!
