Students in Intro to Early Childhood Education completed their mid term interactive book projects in the learning center.
The Foran High School Athletic Department and The Foran Sports Booster Club have teamed up to honor a deserving varsity athlete each week of the season throughout the 2021-2022 school year. Each recipient will be recognized for their performance in the “Friday News” and they will also receive a tee shirt.
The Foran Sports Booster Club Athlete of the Week
Senior, Basit Iddriss has been named Foran High School’s “Athlete of the Week” for his outstanding performance in Indoor Track. At the James Barber Invitational Track Meet held at SCSU, Basit took first place in the 300 Meter Run and also placed second in the 1000 meters. His time in the 1000 not only qualified him for the Class M State Championships, but also broke the school record! Currently, Basit has broken three school records and he is on track to break several more. Congratulations Basit!

Girls Basketball
This past week for the Foran Lady Lions went 4-1 concluding with a 55-37 victory at Lauralton Hall. The girls got big contributions throughout the roster this week including a career high 34 points and 8 3 pointers from Freshman Faith Doyle against Lauralton. The Lady Lions are back in action this Saturday at Law at 4PM.
