CONGRATULATIONS to Foran’s 2023 SCC Artists

James Allen, Agatha Dalton and Shayla Torres  who will represent  Foran High School in the 2023 Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) Annual Art Show. This juried show features artists from the 23 SCC districts and includes art created in all genres. James, Agatha and Shayla will have their work on display in the gallery of The Creative Arts Workshop (CAW) at 80 Audubon Street in New Haven from March 25- April 8, 2023.

Journalism runs the segment at Univ of New Haven and learns from their journalism department.

 

  



This past week, the Foran Key club created “Cards of Kindness” for patients at a Milford Rehab Center! It was a simple yet moving after school service project that we are hoping will put smiles on all the patients faces! Lots of patients in these areas tend to get lonely and sad so making these positive cards will hopefully really brighten up their day! 



The Giving Table

Thank you so much to the Foran HS Giving Table Club for volunteering their free time to make this delicious meal for the Milford Police Department today! Our Officers are already digging in!



Class of 2024 JUNIOR SEMI-FORMAL

We are happy to have our junior semi-formal dance on April 28, 2023.  The dance starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. 

Ticket sales will be online from March 27 - April 5.

 The cost is $65 per person.  

Parents/Guardians were emailed the link for purchase.

Guests from outside of Foran High School will need permission from his/her school to attend. Permission slips for guests are located within the online link and printed copies will be available in TLC, Room 341 or Room 306.  Students must be on time the day of the dance.  Early dismissal will only be allowed after 10:30 a.m. with permission on the ticket order form or a note sent in to school. through Monday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m 

Parent Conference Schedule: 

Wednesday, March 29th  1:00-3:00 p.m.  

Thursday, March 30th  5:30-8:00 p.m.     

*Please note that we will have a modified early dismissal time on the conference days to accommodate the conference schedule.  Therefore, students will be dismissed on 

March 29th and  March 30th 

at 11:48 am.

Parents/guardians will once again have the opportunity to select a conference time through My Conference Time.   All conferences will be in person unless a  parent/guardian requests a Google Meet link directly from the teacher.  Spring conference sign up  information will be  live on our school website from  February 27 at 9:00 a.m. through March 27 at 12:00 p.m  If you prefer a  virtual session, please contact the teacher to request a Google Meet link to conduct your conference virtually after you have confirmed your conference time through My Conference Time Online Scheduler.   We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child’s learning!

 As in past years, seniors will be required to pay $40 to cover the costs of graduation expenses, which includes cap, gown, and diploma cover.

The senior prom will be at The Trumbull Marriott on May 19, 2023 from 6 - 10 pm. Ticket information will be coming in the Spring!

SENIOR CLASS TRIP

The senior class trip is scheduled for June 8, 2023 to Lake Compounce.  Ticket information will be coming soon!

GRADUATION DATE

A date has not yet been set for graduation. The Board of Education will vote in April and the date will be released at that time.

Caps & Gowns and tickets will be given to students at graduation rehearsal
