Dear ESMS Families,
A very busy week - we kicked Wingman off this week with our Ideal School activity! This activity allows the students to create their dream school with no limitations. The school should allow everyone in it to be their best selves and embody our values of respect, accountability, and safety. The students did an incredible job working together in teams to create their schools and then share them with the rest of their class. Wingman is student led and facilitated, we are so proud of our student ambassadors.
Orange Day on Monday October 31st to show unity against bullying! Wear orange to show your support against bullying. Be a BUDDY not a Bully and spread Kindness, Acceptance and Inclusion! Since we do not allow costumes at the middle school level this is a great way to come together in a different way. See flyer here.
SEADOG FUNDRAISER: The Seadog Fundraiser has been doing so phenomenally well that it is being extended through Monday, October 31st! To reward our students for this exemplary behavior we have implemented our Dolphin Dollar system which students can use to purchase items at our ESMS school store. In an effort to fully stock our school store, in conjunction with our AMAZING PTA, we are asking families to consider making a contribution. Click here for more information and a list of items you can donate. Thank you as always for your continued generosity and support!
THANKS FOR GIVING SCOUTS ANNUAL FOOD COLLECTION: It's that time of year again - the Thanks For Giving Scouts Annual Food Collection drive is coming up. The need in our community is always great and again this year, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will conduct the annual food collection at our schools. Over the past couple of COVID years, the drive was altered to a contactless one-day event. This year, we will return to the conventional food drive over a two week period with collection boxes being set up in our schools. The collection boxes will be dropped off at the schools the week of October 31st. Click here for more information!
