Dear ESMS Families,
Our last full week of the 21-22 school year was filled with so much fun and excitement for all students. Our grade 8 students had a very special evening Wednesday night at the Stepping Up Celebration. It was so wonderful having all families, students, and staff together recognizing the efforts and hard work of our students. We are so proud of our students and are confident they are prepared for high school! Wishing each and every one of our grade eight students all the best in their future endeavors.
Today we had a DJ, picnic and kids signed each other's yearbooks. Kids and staff played corn hole, Mrs. Sandholm and Mrs. Palmer offered caricatures of the kids, and there was a lot of dancing!!! We spent most of the morning outside all together. We had so much fun! Field day is now on Monday due to the rainy weather yesterday morning. We are looking forward to another fun day outdoors with students. Please remind your students to bring a water bottle!
I want to thank you for entrusting your children with us every single day. It has been an absolute joy getting to know and working with your children this school year. As I reflect back on the year, I continue to be grateful for your unwavering support and continued involvement in your child’s education - it really does take a village. I hope you can take time for self care over the summer and your children as well. I know I am hoping to spend some time with my family as well and rest up in order to be ready for the Fall!
Report Cards: Report cards will be viewable to families via PowerSchool after the close of the 2021-2022 academic year.
