Happy Friday,
Thank you to all the students, staff and families who came out to support our Drama Club’s production of Beetlejuice, Jr. last Saturday! We are incredibly proud of our talented students and grateful for the strong sense of community that filled the auditorium.
Spelling Bee: A big shoutout to Wesley Domena who represented East Shore with pride on Wednesday night at Milford’s annual spelling bee!
With just one week to go until Spring Break, the excitement is definitely building! Let’s finish strong before we all enjoy a well-deserved break to relax and recharge. Please take a moment to review the important updates and reminders below.
Reminder: To ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, we ask that students refrain from bringing baked goods, candy, or any other food items from home to share with others. This policy is in place due to the increasing number of food allergies and sensitivities within our student body. We want to avoid any accidental exposure to allergens and ensure that all students are protected. Additionally, students sharing food creates disruption in the cafeteria. Please reinforce this message with your child to help maintain a safe lunch period.

Poetry Month: April is Poetry Month, and we’re inviting students to take part in our annual poetry contest! There are separate contests for each grade, and all students are encouraged to participate. Poems are due by April 30th. Poetry is a great way for students to express themselves, build confidence, and have fun with language. We’d love for your student to get involved! You can reach out to your child’s Language Arts teacher, or Mrs. Begin in the media center, for more information.
8th Grade Families: Athletics Open House: For any student who is interested in playing a sport next year at Foran High School, there will be an open house on Monday, May 5th at 6pm in Foran's gym for all 8th grade students. During this open house, you will have an opportunity to see all the sports that Foran offers, meet the head coaches associated with that sport, and meet the athletic director to help answer any lingering questions you may have. With many teams practicing throughout the summer in the offseason, it is highly recommended to attend this night to start getting involved in athletics if you're interested!
