Happy Friday,
Thank you to the many families who took the time to meet with our teachers this week. Your involvement and collaboration are invaluable in supporting your child’s education. By working together, we can continue to foster their growth and success.
Please take a moment to review the upcoming events and important notices below. As always, we appreciate your partnership and support!
8th Grade Families: The course selection process for high school has begun! Please reference the freshman planning guide, which includes a list of available courses and electives, along with step-by-step instructions for making course selections. Additionally, you can review the Program of Studies with your child. This resource outlines graduation requirements and suggested courses to help guide the selection process. All course selection must be completed by Friday, March 28th.
PTA Fundraiser: Are you a gardener or know someone who is? Consider participating in our Spring fundraiser with Flower Power to help support the PTA!
Volunteers Needed for ESMS 5th Annual Career Day: We are looking for anyone who might be interested in sharing their career with our students. Our hope is that we might spark curiosity and interest within our young learners that might lead to a pursuit of a specific career pathway. Career day can have a significant impact on students by exposing them to a variety of career options and inspiring them to explore different pathways. We are in need of Career Day presenters and are hopeful you can help us out. If you are willing to share your career or know someone who might be interested in being a part of this awesome day for our kids. Please click here for more information. ESMS Career Day is Friday, May 16, at 1:00 pm. RSVP deadline is April 11.
8th Grade Families: Athletics Open House: For any student who is interested in playing a sport next year at Foran High School, there will be an open house on Monday, May 5th at 6pm in Foran's gym for all 8th grade students. During this open house, you will have an opportunity to see all the sports that Foran offers, meet the head coaches associated with that sport, and meet the athletic director to help answer any lingering questions you may have. With many teams practicing throughout the summer in the offseason, it is highly recommended to attend this night to start getting involved in athletics if you're interested!
