Dear ESMS Families,
Happy Friday! Your trust in us, encouragement, and collaboration have been even more invaluable to us this week. It is because of our strong, united community that we were able to address these challenges effectively and refocus on what matters most—providing a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment for all students.
Moving forward, we will continue to prioritize open communication and proactive measures to prevent further disruptions. We also ask that you continue talking to your children about the responsible use of social media and encouraging positive, respectful behavior online and in person. Together, we can turn this moment into an opportunity for growth, learning, and a renewed focus on the bright future of our school community.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB: The Boys and Girls Club of Milford is offering a club at ESMS starting Thursday, November 7. The club will run after school until 4:00 PM. Students that have bus transportation to school are eligible for the late bus. All other interested students will need to be picked up. VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION: East Shore Middle School proudly presents “Take a Veteran to School Day.” In honor of Veterans Day, ESMS students and staff would like to invite our family and friends who are veterans to visit our ESMS learning community on Friday, November 8 from 8:30-10:15 a.m. Our veteran guests will attend a ceremony and then share their experiences of patriotic and military service with a small group of students. If you have a veteran family member who would like to attend please click here to access our Veterans Day flyer which can be completed and submitted to your student’s Social Studies teacher by Wednesday, October 30th.
The PTA would like to thank our Veterans for both their service and the time they are taking to spend at ESMS with a welcome reception. Please consider helping by signing up to drop a refreshment or two off at the start of the school day on 11/8. We sincerely appreciate your efforts to make this a lovely event for everyone.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT- If your student attends high school football games, please remind them of the expected behavior: no noise makers or personal athletic balls are allowed in games. Security will confiscate any of these that they see at the gate. It is also important to note behavior at games. Students are there to support the Foran High School football team and/or band. Running around the stands and disruptive behavior will not be permitted at games to ensure safety.
One of the best ways to stay connected and see what is happening in the classroom is through X (formerly Twitter), Instagram or FB. We try our best to capture as much of our kiddos as we can throughout the day. Please follow us! Click on the below icons to access ESMS Instagram (IG), FaceBook (FB), and X accounts:
