Even though it was a short week, it was a great week at ESMS!
As we approach the close of the second marking period of the school year, this is a wonderful opportunity to sit with your child and reflect on the first half of the school year. Reflecting on academic progress, personal growth, and experiences can be a valuable exercise for our students and families. Reflection can provide valuable insight into academic progress, personal development, strengths, and areas for improvement. Setting goals is a powerful and important practice for our middle school kids. It can also help them develop key skills, foster a sense of responsibility, and contribute to their overall growth.
ESMS CAREER DAY: We have some very exciting news…..ESMS is hosting our 4th Annual Career Day for our ESMS learning community and we need your help! We are looking for anyone who might be interested in sharing their career with our students. Our hope is that we might spark curiosity and interest within our young learners that might lead to a pursuit of a specific career pathway. Career day can have a significant impact on students by exposing them to a variety of career options and inspiring them to explore different pathways.
We are in need of Career Day presenters and are hopeful you can help us out. If you are willing to share your career or know someone who might be interested in being a part of this awesome day for our kids. Please click here for more information. ESMS Career Day is Friday, May 24, at 1:00 pm.

Kindergarten Registration for 2024-2025: Greetings, MPS Families! We are pleased to announce that Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opened on Monday, November 13, 2023. If you have a child who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, registration information will be posted to the district website www.milforded.org.
One of the best ways to stay connected and see what is happening in the classroom is through X (formerly Twitter), Instagram or FB.
