Kick Off to Kindergarten - For our incoming Kindergarten families who are fully registered or currently in a MPS preschool program, be on the lookout for an email on our Kickoff to Kindergarten school visits in May.  If your child is eligible for Kindergarten but you have not yet registered, please click the link  to register and be included in this Kickoff to Kindergarten experience.

Don't miss out on one of the most exciting CPM traditions! Come see our amazing teachers take on the 5th graders on April 28th 6pm at Foran High School.  Wear your CPM gear and bring all your school spirit.  Highlights include: concessions, CPM pep squad, 50/50 raffle, awesome raffle baskets, a 4th grade foul shot contest,  and more.  Tickets are available at the door $5 pp and children under 5 are free.

Community Connections Center:  In this week's CCC Newsletter you will find information about the MPS Parent University & the Milford CCC  Family Music Night taking place on  April 26th titled, "Around the World with Your Whole Family!" Click here to register.  Don't forget about the Pop Up Food Pantry on Thursday April 21st. Do you want to know the best way to wash fresh produce? This issue of the CC News has links to the FDA, CDC, & the USDA who all share ways to wash & store your fresh produce. If you need more information, the USDA has a webpage where you can submit your own questions.

• CPM Spring Plant Sale - School Sale for Students - The CPM PTA is very excited to announce that we are able to have the in-school plant sale this year! On May 5th and 6th, students will be able to shop for flowers for their friends and family. Flowers will be $2. Please send in a box or bag to transport their purchases home.  Pre-Order Sale for Larger Plants/Herbs – The CPM PTA will be offering a pre-sale for the larger hanging flower baskets and herb trays. Use the link to order: https://forms.gle/4ynxHtYkAuzQ.... Orders must be placed by April 27th. Payment can be made via Venmo (@calfpenmeadowPTA) or check delivered to the school (made out to CPM PTA) by April 27th.  Gift Card Collection for CPM Staff Appreciation Week - Staff Appreciation week will be held May 2nd-May 6th. The CPM PTA is requesting donations of $10 gift cards our weeklong Gift Card raffle for CPM staff. Mrs. Whitaker has done this raffle herself in the past and the students found it to be so much fun. The PTA wants to do it again in a bigger, and even more exciting way. If you would like to contribute, please send a $10 gift card in with your child to be delivered to the main office (ideas include - but are not limited to - Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Scratch Bakery, Target, Staples, Gas Stations, etc.). • Volunteers Needed for Staff Appreciation Lunch - The PTA is hosting lunch for the staff on Friday May 6th. We will be putting together an epic salad bar and are looking for food contributions from our fantastic CPM community.
