CPM  had a wonderful night of music with our 5th grade musicians!

Costume Parade - On Friday, October 29th students will be able to wear their costumes and participate in a brief parade outside with their grade level. Families will be invited to attend in a designated viewing area. More information including specific COVID safety protocols for visitors and students can be found here.  - Elementary 2021 Costume Parade

Goodie bags-  At this time we are continuing to ask our families to not send in goodie bags or other items from one family to the rest of your class.  While in-person visitors are not currently allowed,  an alternative option families can  participate as a virtual “mystery reader” to read a book to their child’s class as a way of celebrating special occasions.  This should be worked out in advance with the classroom teacher and the teacher can set  up a google meet with the 

family.

Attention 5th Grade Families:

If you are interested in joining the 5th Grade Committee to plan for end-of-the-year activities for our 5th graders, please join us for our first meeting on November 9, 2021 at 7:30pm directly following the November PTA meeting. Library Media Center Update - Now that we are back in our media centers, we are allowing students to check out as many books as they would like to read and enjoy between their Media Center days.

Thank you to all of the families and staff that supported the Jimmy's Pizza Night fundraiser this week! And a big thanks to PTA member Katie Fallon for coordinating the event - the CPM PTA appreciates all of your hard work!

CPM Pumpkin Decorating Night - Join us for a pumpkin decorating night on Thursday, October 28th from 5:00-7:00pm (rain date is October 29th) on the CPM blacktop! The event is open to CPM families. Bring your own pumpkin and blanket, and we’ll provide the paint and brushes! Note, food/drink will not be provided so please bring your own water bottles and snacks. Mask and social distance guidelines will be followed. RSVPs are required to attend. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP via the link: https://forms.gle/3LCCnqeVU1c3p9aX8. CPM Pumpkin Decorating Night Volunteers Needed - If you would like to volunteer at our upcoming Pumpkin Decorating Night event, please email Stephanie Kanaan at stephanie.kanaan@gmail.com. 

GotSneakers? Fundraiser - The CPM PTA is running a sneaker donation fundraiser with GotSneakers?. All we need is your gently worn, used, or new sneakers. Collect as many pairs as you can and send them to CPM. There will be a collection box in the main lobby. GotSneakers? will send us money for every pair of sneakers donated. Our fundraiser will run from October 25th to December 17th. Please see the flyer for more info.
