Award-winning author Katie L. Carroll will visit Calf Pen Meadow on Tuesday, October 8th!  Katie writes books for kids, teens, and those who are young at heart. Writing has taken her to many places -- both real and imagined. She is the author of 12 books that include children's nonfiction, picture books, middle grade novels, and young adult novels. Community Connections Center: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities.  Featured this week :  Saturday two free events ,Seymour Pumpkin Festival and Fairfield University's  Family Day inspired by the legacy of ancient Greece.  On Sunday come and see the great art work of our Milford youth at the PAINT YOUR PATH -SKATEBOARD EXHIBIT.
