If your child is eligible for Kindergarten but you have not yet registered, please click the link to register and be included in this Kickoff to Kindergarten experience.
Drills: Conducting emergency drills (fire, crisis, lockdown, etc.) is one of the most important ways we enhance our preparedness for students and staff during an emergency. Drills allow us to practice what we need to do when an emergency arises in our school.
Calf Pen Meadow School will be conducting a lockdown drill next week. This will only be a drill and will be conducted in accordance with the School Incident Management Protocols established by the district, and in collaboration with our local first responders. Please discuss the importance of our emergency drills with your children. If you have any feedback please reach out to jwhitaker@milforded.org. We thank you for your cooperation and partnership with making our schools a safer place for learning.

Attention 4th grade families!
Dear CPM Families,
Have you heard of Every Kid Outdoors? It is a federally funded program that gives 4th grade students (and their families) the opportunity to visit any federal recreation site for free. You can read more about it here: https://everykidoutdoors.gov/parents.htm.
In class, we will research our national parks and after our lessons, I will print paper passes for all 4th grade students. These passes are valid until 8/31/24. I hope this is something your family can take advantage of as we look forward to the summer months ahead!
Sincerely,
Jessica Karjanis-Media Specialist
