Kickoff to kindergarten - For our incoming Kindergarten families who are fully registered or currently in a MPS preschool program, be on the lookout for an email on our Kickoff to Kindergarten school visits in May.  If your child is eligible for Kindergarten but you have not yet registered, please click the link  to register and be included in this Kickoff to Kindergarten experience.

Thank you to the Pitney Bowes Foundation and Reading is Fundamental for gifting literacy kits to our kindergarten and first grade students!  Miss Karen from Pitney Bowes visited the media center on Wednesday to deliver the kits and read with students.


  Community Connections Center: This week's CCC News contains information and links for a mix of resources & fun activities.  Among the community services you will find links for "Foodshare Mobile Pantry dates and South Central Child Advocacy Center's FREE virtual Internet Safety training for parents.

For Family Fun you'll find information about The Woodruff Family YMCA's annual Healthy Kids Day®, which is FREE and open to the public.

For Family Fun in Connecticut you will see that Old Sturbridge Village, a recreated 1830s rural New England town is FREE for children during the month of April.

For Summer Camps there is a website that features camps for children with special needs.

On May 17th, Milford author Emily Franke will be visiting CPM.  Her book, The Ladybug Who Lived on a Four Leaf Clover, is about a little girl named Emily who loses her grandmother, but realizes she comes back to visit her as a magical ladybug! Sheila, the ladybug, reminds Emily that grandma is always with her!
