The WOW mobile clinic provides New Haven County residents accessible, street-side healthcare treatment. Staffed with a nurse practitioner and medical assistant, WOW offers physical exams, health screenings and tests, mental health, and addiction screenings, referrals, and follow-ups. The program aims to eliminate barriers for those individuals who may not have access to health insurance or face difficulties reaching and obtaining health treatment.

An Evening Under The Stars
Milford Education Foundation's popular Evening Under the Stars event is back!

Come share an entertaining and educational evening with the Milford Education Foundation at the newly renovated Planetarium at Joseph Foran High School. Enjoy musical entertainment, games, and more, along with a spectacular planetarium show, all for $10 per ticket. You will also have the opportunity to check out Milford's award winning Robotics team! Food trucks will be available as well.
Planetarium show run times are 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, 7:00 pm, and 7:45 pm.
Doors close at 8:30 pm.

The Hartford Yard Goats Reading Challenge
The Yard Goats Reading Challenge presented by Eversource, a proud sponsor of Energize Connecticut, encourages students to read five (5) books outside of the normal curriculum during the school year. A student MUST be signed up by a parent or guardian to participate (no schools or libraries). One child per submission. Submissions close on May 6th, no submissions will be accepted past that date. After filling out the initial registration form, you will be contacted for the next step. The Reading Challenge games are on August 13th, 14th, and 15th. Milford Park & Recreation - “Marine Biology”
Instructor: Tim Chaucer
Will study the 9 marine habitats & the seals, cetaceans (whales, porpoise, dolphin) & sea turtles, sharks & fish that inhabit them, using posters, live & rare museum specimens.
Emphasis on learning to use a field guide & the diversity of marine habitat in Milford.
Kids will collect, label & mount a Long Island Sound marine mollusk collection.
Make a temporary aquarium of fish, crustaceans & mollusca.
BRING A LUNCH.
