Energy assistance is a program that helps people having difficulty paying the cost of heating their homes. Through an intake and assessment process, Energy Assistance staff determine how TEAM and its services can best help lower energy costs.

The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) helps Connecticut residents afford to heat their homes. Applications for CEAP typically take 30-45 minutes.

Milford’s 21st Annual Lamplight Stroll
December 1st, 5pm -9pm
Milford's classic New England tradition, the 21st Annual Lamplight Stroll, is a charming holiday event and unique shopping experience for the whole family.
Enjoy horse and carriage rides around the twinkling Green, yuletide carolers, and of course, a visit from Santa himself! Downtown will be bustling with lots of holiday cheer.

This event is open to the public daily and will feature over 150 beautiful holiday displays donated and sponsored by individuals, local businesses and community organizations. Raffle tickets are sold for $1 each and attendees will be able to distribute their tickets towards the displays they would like to win on our raffle platform. It is a fun event for the entire family and a perfect way to get in the holiday spirit and kick off this special season.

The Festival of Lights will be held on Friday, December 8th, 2023
from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Olde Mistick Village in Mystic.
On December 8th, experience the magic of the holiday season at the Olde Mistick Village. Come stroll through walkways brilliantly lit by thousands of luminaries. With live entertainment and complimentary treats in the Meeting House, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Ring in the Holiday Season with your NHSO! Chelsea Tipton leads a holly-jolly concert of classic carols and new festive favorites, perfect for the entire family! Program highlights include Carol of the Bells, I Saw Three Ships, Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker, Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, and more! The NHSO will welcome for the first time special guests, the Shoreline Ringers handbell ensemble, as well as a visit from Santa Claus!
Tickets to this concert range in price from $15-49 for adults.
Kids under 18 go free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
College Students are $10 with ID.
Tickets for active military are free with ID.
