Courses and Scheduling

Early spring is the time for all students to select the courses they will take the following year. All students should meet with their school counselor during this time.

Program of Studies 25-26

All students will meet with their School Counselor in the month of March to review their course requests.

Each year be mindful of the courses already completed, the graduation requirements fulfilled (the assigned school counselor will help with that), and the ones still in need of fulfillment.

Career Pathways

The Milford Public Schools envisions a future where all students have access to flexible Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. These pathways are designed to prepare students to graduate as innovative thinkers equipped with adaptable, transferable skills that contribute to the growth of Connecticut's knowledge-based economy.

There are 16 Career Clusters recognized by the State of Connecticut. While all clusters have value, workforce data (including Connecticut's long-term industry and occupational projections for 2016-2026) highlight the importance of 7 Career Clusters aligned with the pathways below.
